Are you traveling by plane and want to travel without extra baggage? With Holimites you can leave your beloved road bike to rest at home. Thanks to the Holimites partnership with Colnago we have top-of-the-line road bikes for your rides across the passes of the Dolomites.

You don’t like to read a road bike map or a route on a GPS and you prefer to ride on a guided bike tour? Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday local guides will show you the beauty of the Dolomite passes on some can't-be-missed tours for cyclists: the Sellaronda (tour of the four passes around the Sella Group in the Dolomites), the Giau Pass, the Passo Fedaia (on the mountain roads around the Marmolada glacier) and the route of the Dolomites Bike Day. - Individual customized tour
A local guide will accompany you on the roads of the Dolomites. The route will be decided directly with the guide. Here are some ideas. - Maratona dles Dolomites “Every Day”
Our staff will follow you with the Holimites van on the Maratona dles Dolomites course. We will bring food and refreshment, and of course warm clothing in case the weather changes during the day. Of course, we also provide basic mechanical services in the event of an issue.
- Guided day trip: Passo dello Stelvio or Monte Zoncolan
Passo dello Stelvio: it's no wonder that this is one of the most famous climbs in Europe: sitting at 2.758m it is one of the highest Alpine passes. The day begins with a van transfer to Prato allo Stelvio. Ascend the east side for 26 km, climbing Passo Stelvio's 48 switchbacks, then be rewarded with a descent into Swiss territory, through the Passo dell'Umbrail and the Val Müstair, ending the loop at Prato allo Stelvio for a total of 62 km and 1,960 meters of elevation gain.
Monte Zoncolan: this ascent belongs on the bucket list of every cyclist. Considered to be one of the hardest climbs in Europe, it is also commonly referred to as “Kaiser” (emperor). Your day will begin with a private transfer to Ovaro (province of Udine, Friuli Venezia Giulia). From there we will start with the climb: 10km and an elevation gain of 1.200m, averaging a gradient of 11.5% with a maximum of 22%. We will make our descent on the side of Sutrio, looping back to the villages of Ravascletto and Comeglians for a total of 45 km and 1900 meters of elevation gain.

How does the Colnago bike rental work?
In order to receive the proper bike size, simply fill out the rental form you will receive at the moment of your booking. Notice: we have a limited number of Colnago rental bikes. If we no longer have the size you need, we’ll help you to find another bicycle to rent.
When do the guided bike tours take place and how difficult are they?
Guided tours take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the months of June and July. A local, expert guide will take you to discover the Dolomites’ most beautiful routes.
Each day you can choose between two levels of difficulty – TOUR and HOBBY. TOUR level is designed for bikers with top athletic preparedness while HOBBY level is for those who prefer a leisurely pace to enjoy the unique Dolomite scenery. Guided bike tours must be reserved ahead of time and are available for an extra free.
Do I need to reserve additional services?
Of course not. You can decide to reserve extra services (such as guided tours or airport transfer) when you book your package. The cost for each service is listed during the online reservation process.

Cycling heaven
Excellent service, nothing is too much trouble, very responsive. We had an amazing time in the Dolimites, we were road cycling and walking but there is plenty more to do. Thank you for a great holiday.

From the moment we arrived until the day we left, this holiday was fantastic. Holimites bike rental was all that was promised, including gps maps to follow our self guided routes. The Hotel Gran Ander was superb. Family owned and every aspect from cleanliness, comfort, staff and amazing meals were beyond expectation. I would recommend Ricky's cafe for your beverage and sweet treats. The area is beautiful and a dream for cyclists that love to climb. Badia drivers are respectful of cyclist too. Lastly, the weather was sunny and warm every day, Thanks Holimites for working that out with mother nature!!

Organised a cycling trip through Holimites ( Dolomites DIY tour). Seven riders staying at the Ustaria Posta. Arrived Saturday evening and the bikes were already waiting for us. One was missing but this was sorted within the hour. Bikes of very good standard. One mechanical during our stay which was sorted promptly at the hotel. Hotel excellent. So overall an excellent time and as everything was in place then we didn't need to bother the Holimites staff. Communication was good too. Well done Holimites.

We spent a week in the Dolomites on Holomites Rent-Ride-Relax package.The rooms and meals at the hotels (Hotel Gardenazza) were great and an amazing value. The bikes were Colnago CLX less than a year old. The routes they provided were perfect and the staff was always reachable and helpful. They helped us arrange a side trip to Lake Garda with 150 miles on a bike path and return on the train. When I describe the trip to friends back in the States, they are appropriately amazed. Very good chance we will do this again.

We had a group of 9 from Dublin, staying in the Gardenazza half-board, hiring bikes and availing of transfers to/from Venice airport. Used the "Rent-Ride-Relax" package. All was PERFECT. Smooth transfers in a nice van, excellent bikes, super hotel with great food and lovely staff - and the cycling was just brilliant (Giau, Sella Ronda and Tre Cime). We were a group of nine cyclist, who lived at the lovely Hotel Ustaria Posta by using their Rent-Ride-Relax package deal. The hotel is run by a family, who are very kind and would like to do everything to make you comfortable. Igor at the desk, is always very helpful by guiding us with detailed road descriptions and alternative routes to discover the amazing Dolomites.
The location is perfect if you're a cyclist. You live close to many great, enjoyable and spectacular climbs.
This was our second time with the Holimites and Ustaria Posta, and we will definitely be coming back!

I thoroughly enjoyed their Rent Ride Relax hotel and bicycle package. Staff were very helpful in answering questions, the Ustaria Postal Hotel was very good and bike friendly, and the Cologno rental bike was adjusted to my specifications before I arrived. And the rides were beautiful! Holimites also helped me ship back some extra bike gear I didn’t need for the rest of my vacation.

My son and I went on a Holomites organised cycling trip in the Dolomites in late June staying at Ustaria Posta in Badia. It was a great trip and the people at Holomites were super efficient and friendly. The Hotel was pleasant (1/2 board, family run, great food, etc ), the cycling well organised ( maps, english speaking tour guide ), and cycling and scenery amazing.
I would highly recommend both the area and Holomites as tour arrangers for cycling trips. I would certainly use them again.

We stayed four nights in Alta Badia (see separate review of Ustaria Posta Hotel) with Colnago bike rentals through Holimites. I thought that with the low price there would be some catch, but there absolutely wasn't. Everything was handled with the highest degree of professionalism, and the bikes were fantastic. They were ready for us when we arrived, and since we were scheduled to pick up on a Sunday we even got an extra day of riding for free. One of us had our pedals fail, and BikeTop Badia immediately provided pedals for the rest of the stay at no extra charge. The rides suggested by Holimites were excellent, and the region is absolutely gorgeous and a bike riders paradise (if you don't mind climbing - no flat roads here).
I don't have any experience with their organized trips, but I'm sure that they're excellent as well. I can say that the bike rental experience was excellent, and I'd happily do it again.
